Manifod Right - Left "Racing"

The exhaust system for MERCEDES SLS AMG 6.3i V8 is composed by a manifold right + left (or "Racing" version, which replaces all cats), front metallic catalytic converters, a centre pipe (or central "X-Pipe"), rear exhaust and the endpipe kit (or connecting pipe kit for OEM endpipes)

Two types of headers have been developed.

- 847801 "street", longer than the stock headers, replace the primary cats and are designed for road use without specific modifications to the ECU. We recommend to fit them with the front sports cats (HJS 100 CPSI) 847802 + 847822, with extended O2 sensor wires.
These catalytic converters are much more efficient and free-flowing but at the same time offers an optimal reduction of pollutant gas.
A catless (decat) option is available, cod. 847812, but requires to address the Check Engine Light issue with sensor cheaters or an ECU tune.

- 847901 "racing", with even longer primary pipes that replace all 4 OEM cats. A specific ECU tune is required, because of the different O2 sensor position and to optimize the engine management.
The total performance gain is higher than with the "street" headers, independent dyno testing have shown 640+ hp, but these results are not published as not confirmed on our in-house MAHA dynamometer.

Both solutions are compatible with the OEM centre and rear sections.

If you're looking only for a more involving and sportier exhaust tone and don't want to replace the stock manifold and catalytic converters, the "cat-back" setup is recommended. It's composed by centre pipes 847823 + rear exhaust 847804 +  exit pipes for OEM tips 847814

If you want to increase the performance and exhaust tone but still want to maintain good comfort on board we recommend the full system with the centre x-pip 847813.
