VW GOLF VII GTI "Performance" 2.0 TSI (230 Hp) 2013 ->

The exhaust system for GOLF MK7 GTI Performance 2.0 TSI (230 hp) is composed by

- Turbo downpipe kit with or without a metallic catalytic converter (n. 889621 / n. 889611)
- Centre section (n. 889603) or centre pipe (n. 889613)
- Rear exhaust right - left (n. 889604)
- Endpipes kit (n. 855824 o 764614 )

The catalytic converter, as in the Supersprint tradition, is replaced by a HJS metallic unit with 200 cells per square inch. It's much more efficient and free-flowing but at the same time offers an optimal reduction of pollutant gas.

If you're looking only for a more involving and sportier exhaust tone and don't want to replace the downpipe, the "cat-back" setup is recommended. It's composed by centre pipe + rear exhaust + endpipes kit.

Following our very long tradition (est.1955), the main target is not to change the nature of the car, loosing comfort in the process, but to make the engine note more pleasant and distinctive, without being excessive, but even more important, to increase the performance. We still offer a louder, more aggressive setup for enthusiasts.

The look is the perfect match of sportiness and class, with rear exhaust available with dual pipes setups, one for each side (100 mm or 90mm) perfectly integrated in the bumper line, for a sporty but still elegant result.

Supersprint has developed a full exhaust system for the new Golf VII GTI, including the "performance" version.

Dyno testing has showed higher power and torque value than claimed.
The car, a "performance",  had 249.2 hp and 371.5 nm instead of the official 230 hp and 350 nm. This confirms the acceleration times that some magazine have published, closer to cars like the Focus ST and Megane RS than what the spec sheets would suggest.

This engine is a good balance of low-end grunt, with instant response to the throttle, and a surprising, constant push well over 6000 rpm. Fuel consumption is also pleasantly low for a 2 litre turbocharged unit.

Testing the full exhaust fitted to the car revealed a healthy performance gain, up to 255.8 hp and 385.2 nm, without any other modification. Some tuner has already started working on the ECU with excellent results, up to 300 hp with our full system.

Most of the difference is given by the new 200 CPSI HJS cat, but some merit goes also to the oversize piping, 80mm right after the turbo and 70mm all the way to the back.
In detail the exhaust system for the VW GOLF VII GTI  is composed by;

- Turbo downpipe kit with or without a 200 CPSI HJS metallic cat (n. 889621 / n. 889611)
- Centre section silenced(n. 889603) or pipe only (n. 889613)
- Homologated rear exhaust right - left (n. 889604)
- 100mm round end pipes (n. 855824)

The catalytic converter, as in the Supersprint tradition, is replaced by a HJS metallic unit with 200 cells per square inch. It's much more efficient and free-flowing but at the same time offers an optimal reduction of pollutant gas.
The sound is quite raspy and deep, with a very audible "snort" sound when changing gear. There's no drone, but for the "sensible ears" we recommend the centre silencer, especially if the car is used on long journeys. Enthusiast will love the aggressive tone of the full system with the centre direct pipe, and even more the track-only decat setup.

If you're looking only for a more involving and sportier exhaust tone and don't want to replace the downpipe, the "cat-back" setup is recommended. It's composed by centre pipe + rear exhaust + tips.

Following our very long tradition (est.1955), the main target has not been to change the nature of the car, loosing comfort in the process, but to make the engine note more pleasant and distinctive, without being excessive, but even more important, to increase the performance.

The look is the perfect match of sportiness and class, with rear exhaust available with dual pipes setups, one for each side (100 mm) perfectly integrated in the bumper line, for a sporty but still elegant result.
Custom finish tips are available on request (satin black, polished black, satin silver), while a outlet kit for the new Golf VII R will become available once the car goes on sale.
