FORD FOCUS ST 2.0T (250Hp) '11 -> Supersprint exhaust system development

04/10/2013

Supersprint has started the development of the full exhaust system for the new Ford Focus St.

The car uses a smaller engine than the previous generation ST/RS, a 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder engine, with direct injection.

The development car is a Wagon, the only difference is the length of the tailpipes.

The system is composed by a downpipe with an integrated HJS 200 CPSI metallic cat, a centre silencer and a rear exhaust.

We're evaluating different tail pipes style, and there will be also an option to keep the OEM outlet.

The dyno testing proved that the car has more power and torque than claimed, with around 260 hp and almost 400 nm of torque.
We'll see what kind of increase is possibile with a full system.
