This performance headers is designed to enhance the flow on the conversion of the S65 engine to supercharging, which is becoming more popular every day among the M3 enthusiasts.
While the oem BMW Factory headers is extremely well designed, and it offers a perfect blend of torque and max hp on the stock engine, it lacks flow and becomes overly restrictive when used in conjunction with supercharging.
The SS new headers is designed to do exactly this, guaranteeing the perfect flow rate for a radical modification, up to 700-750 hp.
Large tubing diameter, an equal-lenght primary design, and race-spec, 4-into-1 collectors are the main features of the new Supersprint S65 headers.
As usual with all of the Supersprint performance headers and exhausts, the installation is an easy, straightfoward process, the fitment is spot on, and the durability is second to none.
We recommend using this SS headers system on S/C conversions only, not on stock S65 engines.
