The Supersprint long tube headers and the dual-inlet port, R&L catalytic system are the key components of the entire exhaust, becoming instrumental to the gains in low to mid rpm torque (up to + 45 Nm), and in peak horsepower (+ 40 Hp).
The stock exhaust has a horribly restrictive design, using 6 catalytics, placed very close to the engine (4 of these are actually shoehorned inside of the engine bay), courtesy of the Euro and International, awful regulations for emission control.
Sadly, the generous, high-revving nature of the V12 N/A engine is chocked down by this redundant, overweight standard exhaust.
