The 4.0l Twin Turbo V8 Audi engine has huge potential, but unfortunately it is chocked down by its restrictive catalytics.
The front section is the most critical area of the entire exhaust system.
Since Supersprint has always been committed to get the most performance, this is where our R&D work has started from.
Our R&L Downpipe kit, with its no-compromise, race inspired design, uses HJS Motorsport 100 cpsi twin metallic cats, which guarantee the same, free flowing characteristics as our set of totally straight-through, cat-deleting pipes.
This Oversize diameter Supersprint kit provides for the exhaust gas backpressure to drop down to racecar engine levels, yet it reduces the emissions to meet Euro 4 compliancy standards, at the same time.
With the full Supersprint exhaust in place, and a ECU reprogramming, the 605 Hp Audi S8 Plus can easily reach 700+ Hp.
Furthermore, the lowered thermal stress on the turbochargers guarantees that the heat soak is reduced to a bare minimum, resulting in more consistent performance.
Alongside our Downpipe kit, we have also developed a great sounding Cat-Back exhaust to complement it.
The front and the mid Supersprint sections are available in multiple options, for fine tuning of the V8 sound.
The Independent, separate mid pipes provide for a raw, muscle car sound, while the H-Pipes ensure a more refined, smoother note.
As an alternative, the resonated mid section is the choice for frequent, long-distance cruising on the Autobahn.
The Supersprint R&L rear mufflers, with their quad-oval tip design, available in silver chrome, or in black chrome finish, are perfectly suited to the standard bumper diffuser.
As always, the installation is a straightforward process, no modifications required.
