As with all of the 911 Turbos, including the GT2, the stock catalytics put a severe limitation to the efficiency of the entire exhaust system.
The later-generation, 3.8l Flat Six 560 Hp engine greatly benefits from the Supersprint free-flowing, turbo back exhaust, which uses a set of HJS Motorsport, high volume 100 cpsi catalytics.
Our system guarantees a massive reduction in exhaust gas backpressure, lower operating temperatures for more consistent performance, with less thermal stress on the R&L turbochargers, all within one package.
Also, it provides for a incredible, deep, throaty, yet droning-free sound.
Supersprint has also developed tubular headers, a must-have for the more radical engine conversions.
Unfortunately, the stock, log-design manifolds do little justice to the 911 Turbo engine, compromising its potential, in favor of
durability and ground clearance.
Their poor design compounds to the bottleneck made by the stock catalytic and muffler.
As opposed to these, the equal-lenght design of the Supersprint headers' primaries, built with the ideal primary pipe diameter and a true, race-type 3-1 collector geometry, optimize the flow from each of the cilynder head ports, guaranteeing a perfect efficiency, and increasing the ramming effect of the gas charge to each of the the turbos.
This translates into stronger intake boost pressure, for greater torque in the mid-range and more hp at peak.
The special steel alloy makes the Supersprint headers as durable as the stock, double-walled manifolds.
As always, the Supersprint tubular headers and exhaust for the 911 Turbo S install easily; no modification required.
