This amazing result had been achieved with a great effort having being made by our own R&D Team, back in 2007.

As the first step, we have spent long hours dyno testing, measuring, evaluating the overly quiet, standard-equipment exhaust.

We found out that the stock tubular R&L headers are built rather well; a good design overall, given the limitations and the severe space constraints of the Vantage narrow engine bay.

While not being the ideal, perfect race headers, they leave only a limited amount of performance on the table.
Our Development Team determined that they definetly are not the bottleneck in the exhaust system, and made the decision to leave them in place.

This lead our efforts towards improving the stock catalytic and muffler, having realized that they are awfully restrictive in design, seriuosly hurting the real performance potential of the high revving, N/A V8 engine.

The plan made by our development team was about creating a new, full exhaust, from the headers back, using a set of R&L, high-flowing HJS Motorsport cats, and an oversize diameter X-pipe mid section.

Further downstream of the X-Pipe, we designed and built a rear muffler with a unique, straight-through inner scheme (with direct-path, perforated cores, mandrel bent to mantain a high flow rate; without any reflection chambers, nor any obstructing baffles).

The Supersprint sound-tuned and balanced design also ensures a controlled, droning-free operation while driving, at the same time.

Thanks to the highly improved efficiency of the exhaust dynamics, the final results ended up being no less than spectacular, as the gains in torque measured between + 40 Nm and + 55 Nm, starting from 2000, all the way up to 7000.

The increase in peak Hp is equally astounding: + 32 Hp; a major achievement for a simple bolt-on addition.

In order to allow for a wide range of customization, we offer our rear section in three distinct versions; Sport, Dual-Sound (with flaps, and by-pass pipes), and Race (muffler-delete).
As with most of the Supersprint exhausts, the installation is extremely easy, straightforward, with no modification required.

Each of these SS rear mufflers retains the Vantage V8 std. chrome tips, integrated with the bumper.

This very same type of Supersprint exhaust fits to all of the 2006-2010 Vantage 4.3L / 4.7L versions.
