Made of thinner wall, high grade stainless tubing, this Supersprint exhaust makes for a massive saving in weight.
As in the Supersprint tradition, the free-flowing, cat-deleting Turbo Downpipes provide for a substantial gain in performance, both in peak Hp and in midrange torque.
They also guarantee lower operating temperatures for the turbocharges and for the engine as well, making the power output more consistent under the most demanding racing conditions.
The greatly improved, free-flowing exhaust operation complements any engine upgrade up to 600+ Hp.
These Supersprint Downpipes are built out of high grade, heat resistant stainless steel, and proven to be extremely durable, superior over any other material.
Upon special request, we can supply the same Downpipes made of Inconel alloy, for an even better thermal stability.
The Supersprint front exhaust section uses a set of R&L HJS Motorsport, 100 cpsi high-volume metal matrix cats; the best flowing, most durable and efficient Race catalytics on the market.
The compound effect of increased performance, and less weight, translates into lower lap times.
We also offer a straight-pipe version of the same front exhaust section, to be used at events where cats are not mandatory.
Our special, R&L Race / Endurance Lightweight rear mufflers are compliant to the FIA sound limit of 95db.
For racetracks venues with yet more stringent sound regulations, we have an optional, resonated front section as well.
As is, the Supersprint race system is designed to accept the BMW oem M Performance R&L rear mufflers, too.
All of the Supersprint multiple exhaust configurations install easily, requiring no modifications, since all of the needed provisions for the O2 / Lambda sensors are retained at their specific locations on the SS piping.
The Supersprint Sport / Race system is also suitable to the std. F80 M3 cars, in all of the versions, 2012 through 2018.
