Supersprint has introduced its exhaust downpipe kit for the 2016-2018 BMW M550i xDrive, equipped with the 462 Hp, latest generation Twin Turbo N63R V8 engine. Built with oversize diameter tubing, and a set of HJS Motorsport, 100 cpsi large-volume 130mm catalytics, this Supersprint exhaust system eliminates the overly restrictive, oem cats. By freeing up this exhaust tract, getting rid of the only bottleneck in the entire system, the efficiency of the turbochargers improves by a massive amount, and the temperature in the engine exhaust port area gets considerably lower . The performance increases, remaining consistent under hard driving conditions, while the emissions are kept under control at the same time. It bolts up directly to the BMW Factory cat-back exhaust, which has a free-flowing, dual sound mode, ideal design already. No modification is required. This Supersprint exhaust kit, which supports engine tunes up to 700 Hp, adds a high degree of reliability to the entire powertrain as well, and it can be considered as the most cost-effective performance addition for this fine car; it is available in a Racing, cat-deleting version as well.
