Alfa Romeo 156 GTA + Scarico completo Supersprint. Un binomio vincente, dal 2002 fino ad oggi.
I collettori tubolari, in acciaio inox, sono stati studiati e sviluppati da Supersprint per il motore 3.2i V6, ancora alla fine degli anni '90, in collaborazione con Alfa Corse di Arese.
A completamento di progetti ambiziosi del Gruppo, l'ultimo step di sviluppo del leggendario motore prevedeva una maggiorazione di cilindrata fino a 3.5L/ 3.7L, per ottenere potenze e valori di coppia superiori.
Per arrivare al traguardo prefissato, la necessità di eliminare i catalizzatori primari ha reso i collettori tubolari in acciaio un componente indispensabile; una richiesta specifica da parte del reparto sviluppo motori di Arese, che ne ha commissionato a Supersprint la realizzazione.
Nonostante le ottime premesse, purtroppo il progetto di produrre in serie e commercializzare la 156 GTAm non ha avuto seguito, e le 147 GTA, GT Coupè e GTV 916, nella configurazione 3.2l da 250 Hp, sono stati gli ultimi modelli Alfa Romeo di serie equippaggiati con questo leggendario motore V6.
Dopo breve tempo, a causa di cambiamenti di strategie, l'intero reparto R&D è stato smantellato e trasferito in altra sede.
Supersprint ha comunque portato a termine il progetto, completando lo sviluppo fino alla versione definitiva dei collettori e dell'intero scarico, che garantisce lo straordinario incremento di + 20 Hp, + 25 Nm, senza altre modifiche.
Da allora i collettori Supersprint originali sono entrati a far parte della storia del motore Alfa Romeo V6, a pieno titolo.

Systems for replacement of kat for OBD II car models (with lambda sensors before and after the kat.)
These systems can only be used for racing purpose exclusively, in conjunction with the modifications of the engine management system. If used with a stock “ECU”, malfunctions may occur. All modifications must be carried out by qualified personnel only, under the liability of the car owner and at his expense.
