The Supersprint 4-into-1 long tube headers system offers a huge performance improvement over the awfully restrictive, log-design stock manifolds with integrated catalytics.

They totally turn the exhaust gas flow dynamics around, guaranteeing a major gain in performance throughout the entire rpm range, from 1500 rpm all the way to redline.

The gains in peak hp are averaging +20 / + 30 Hp, with highs of + 40 Hp in specific areas of the midrange.

The torque grows by + 30 / + 60 Nm, with a continuous, virtually even spread over the entire powerband.

The Supersprint long-tube headers for the BMW E60/61 550i, the E63/64 650i and the E65/66 750i, are the most effective performance addition for the N62N 4.8l V8 engine, the last development step of the N/A BMW high displacement motors, before the arrival of the Turbo V8s.

We have designed these headers, complementing them with a set of HJS Motorsport high-flowing metallic Cats, with the primary goal of eliminating the overly restrictive factory manifold + cat assembly,

By using the same concept we had previously developed on the SS headers for E39 M5, we designed 4-into-1 headers, re-positioning our HJS cats further downstream on the exhaust system.

As the stock, ceramic core monolyths are placed harmfully close to the engine head ports, the Supersprint system provides for a massive drop in exhaust gas backpressure, ensuring lower operating temperatures.

The final effect is a massive increase of torque in the low rpm range (+65 Nm @ 2500), and also a healthy gain of + 30 Hp on top, at the same time.

This  improvement in exhaust dynamics  helps with the engine efficiency so much, that the difference while driving is astounding.

Being the perfect complement to our headers, our full system is expecially tuned to the N62N engine specifications; the oversize diameter tubing, and the free-flowing, inner design of the Supersprint  silencer canisters result in a sound like no other.

We guarantee a deep, throaty voice and also a high revving scream, typical of the  Euro V8 engines; yet no droning, absolutely.

As usual, these Supersprint multi-piece, patented-design headers and the remaining exhaust components  install easily, without the need for a time consuming engine removal; with our bolt-on exhaust design, no modification is required.
