The target of the Supersprint exhaust for the Maserati Ghibli 3.0 V6 turbo was to improve the sound in both open and closed valve mode.
The OEM system is very restrictive and muted in closed mode, and in open mode (sport) tends to be a bit metallic, not very rounded or armonic.

With the new rear mufflers with bypass valves, which have a direct flow design in both modes and are entirely built in stainless steel, with the correct sizing of metal sheets and piping, the sound is much more rounded and meaty in every drving situation, without sacrificing the comfort onboard in the process.

The look is elegant and sporty, but subtle, with 120x80mm tailpipes that are an improved version of the stock items and fill the arches perfectly.

Unlike other systems, like the stock one too, there is no flow restrictions, like a diameter bottleneck or a chamber-type silencer, in closed mode, for optimal performance.

The connection to the valve control system is very easy, just unplug the pneumatic pipes from the OEM mufflers and plug them in the new ones.

The connecting pipe kit is required for fitting the rear exhaust.

We recommend the silenced centre section to people who wants a more involving and sportier sound in open mode but want to keep the OEM-like level of comfort while cruising.
The unsilenced version is for enthusiasts who really wants to hear the V6 singing all the time, but especially in open mode.
Both components include an H-Pipe (a cross-pipe that balances the pressure waves between the two exhaust lines) for performance and sound reasons.

Because this is a "catback" system and it doesn't replace the catalytic converters, there is no electronic problems that cause the Check Engine Light to turn on, and it's not necessary to reprogram the ECU.
