Supersprint is developing a new full high performance exhaust system for the BMW F82 M4 Coupé 3.0 twin-turbo.
The same system will be compatible also with the M3 F80 saloon.
A similar system will also be developed for the M4 Convertible F83.
The stock system is composed by two turbo downpipes with integrated pre-catalytic converters, a centre section with two more cats, a centre resonator and a rear muffler with electrical bypass valves. These valves are controlled by the ECU and open/close depending on driving mode (Comfort/Sport), throttle opening and revs.
The new Supersprint exhaust is being defined but generally speaking it should include:
1) Turbo downpipe, catless
2) Centre section with or without sports cats, with or without silencer
3) Rear muffler, with bypass valves compatible with the OEM management system, plus probably other variants.
4) Tailpipes, 90mm, available in different shapes and finish.
