High performance sport exhaust by Supersprint for Lamporghini Murcielago LP640
100% stainless steel system 2 x Ø70mm


The stock exhaust is composed by:

Tubular headers of good design
Catalytic converters, quite restrictive
1->2 branching pipes, one branch going into the silencer, the other into the bypass valve which once open sends the gas directly toward the tailpipes
Muffler, bulky and heavy, 41kg.
2->1 collector pipes, one branch coming from the silencer, one from the bypass valve, converging into the tailpipes
Round tailpipes, small and not filling adeguately the large valance of the bumper. More recent models have a large single tailpipe.

The Supersprint system leaves the headers but allows to change all the rest. It's composed by:

-High flow metallic cats 100 CPSi by HJS Motorsport. Drastically increase the gas flow and the performance, with optimal reduction of the pollutant gas.
As analternative we provide decat pipes.
Both these kits have two single outlets, so they must be fitted along with either the Supersprint silencer or the bypass pipes.
Fitting these components will remove the bypass valves, so the variable sound system won't work anymore. The branches of the exit pipes coming from the valves will need to be capped. Caps included.

-Rear muffler. Replaces the OEM silencer, with a better sound especially in closed valve mode. 22kg lighter than stock (19 vs 41). Gas flow improvement.
As an alternative we offer bypass pipes, to delete the silencer. Once these pipes are installed the sound in closed and open mode become basically the same. Drastic weight reduction, -33 kg (8 vs 41)
Both kits have the same inlets and outlets as the OEM silencer, so they are a fully plug&play install.

-Merging exit pipes 2into1 for Supersprint tailpipes.
These collect the gas coming from the silencer/bypass pipes and from the bypass valves in a two single exit pipes, to be connected to the Supersprint tailpipes.
Compatible both with the OEM silencer and cats, or the Supersprint ones.
In case of the fitting along with the SS high flow cats the provided caps must be used to block the branch that would come from the bypass valves, no longer present.

-Tailpipes kit 120mm slash cut
Designed to fill perfectly the large bumper valance, offering a much more aggressive and integrated look.


 

Supersprint offers a wide range of Performance exhaust options for the 2007-2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640.

The stock, factory  headers are tubular, a great design that leaves no room for improvement.

A good job made by the Lamborghini engineers and by their engine R&D Team.

In order to get the full potential from the engine, we focused our R&D efforts on the catalytics and the rear muffler, developing a system that reduces the exhaust gas backpressure, guaranteeing a free-flowing operation.

Our front section uses a set of HJS Motorsport, high volume 100 cpsi metal core catalytics.

The specific rear muffler has a straight through, inner design, with a built-in  X-pipe section, encased within the canister. It provides for a massive saving in weight, -22kg.

The Supersprint system guarantees a perfect flow rate, and ensures a great, majestic V12 sound note.

As an option, we offer a Racetrack-only, muffler delete X-pipe, dropping -33kg from the back of the car.

When mated to the SS lightweight R&L front pipes, the weight saving is huge.

No word can describe the sound; this setup is not for the faint of heart.

The Supersprint system is completed by a set of 120mm dual tail pipes, for a unique style; but it also accepts the stock tips as a simple, bolt-on option.

Each of the Supersprint individual exhaust parts installs easily, with no modification required.

Estos sistemas solo pueden utilizarse para fines de carrera exclusivamente, junto con las modificaciones del sistema de gestión del motor. Si se usa con una "ECU" estándar, pueden ocurrir fallas de funcionamiento. Todas las modificaciones deben ser realizadas solo por personal calificado, bajo la responsabilidad del propietario del automóvil y a su cargo.

La garantía de súper impresión se limita a la calidad, mano de obra y ajuste correcto al modelo de automóvil previsto para todos los productos de la competencia.
